December 17, 1973 -- 8 P.M.
The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Stanek
presiding. At roll call, the following aldermen were present:
Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. absent: None.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve minutes
of the December 3, 1973, meeting as read.

Absent: None.
Motion carried.

Motion by Wegener, seconded by Rogers, to pass National
Electrical Code by Reference, as proposed.
Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Bolger, NAY;
Datz, NAY; Harker, NAY; Howard, NAY; Pepping, NAY; Rogers, AYE;
Wegener, AYE.

The Mayor declared that the motion did not carry.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Howard, to pass the National
Electric -:.Code by Reference, as amended.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Harker, to reconsider an
Ordinance Amending The Zoning Ordinance of The City of McHenry,
T1linois, passed October 15, 19735 concerning the petition of
Ralph L. Edgar, to allow one building instead of two on property
described, plans to be submitted by Ralph L. Edgar to the City Council.

gasoline to be furnished the City during the year 1974.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Datz, to accept the bid
submitted by Hester Oil Company on gasoline.

Motion carried.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to authorize the
Supt. of Public Works to negotiate bill of Kuch & Ingram
(approximately $10,637) for street surfacing in Lakeland Park area
and authorize payment.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping,
Rogers, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.

Area Chamber of Commerce $1000.00 to be used toward payment of
Christmas decorations.
