At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to approve the minutes of the Nov. 5, 1973 meeting, as read. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. None. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Datz, to accept the letter of resignation submitted by Richard J. Zieman as Chairman of the McHenry Zoning Board of Appeals, resignation to be effective Dec. 1, 1973. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Howard, seconded by Datz, to authorize payment of the following bills to Baxter & Woodman, Inc. for engineering services as funds are available: Administrative - Sewer Plant Federal Assistance $853.23 Administrative - HUD application 67.30 Lakeland Park Pumping Station 64.00 Resident Engineering - Trunk Sewer 715.37 Resident Engineering - Special Assessment #30 2,372.14 Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Howard, seconded by Wegener, to accept the proposal submitted by Radicom, Inc. for installation of 2-way radio communications in Public Works department vehicles at a cost of $2,099.00 November 19, 1973 Page Two Voting "Aye": Bolger, DatZ, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to authorize new test hole for water well at best possible site, and soil borings for water treatment building. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to authorize Baxter and Woodman, Inc. to prepare operating manual for sewage treatment plant as required by Federal EPA. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Wegener, to authorize the Mayor to execute recapture agreement for construction of water main to serve area along the south side of I11. Rt. 120 as proposed by Sidney Loeb, and to authorize the City Clerk to attest to the Mayor's signature, and to authorize the Supt. of Public Works to proceed v�ith the project.
