At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent:*Hromec. *Alderman Hromec was present following roll call and before any action was taken by the Council. Motion by Harker, seconded by Pepping, to approve the minutes of the October 1, 1973, meeting, as read. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. None. Motion by Datz, seconded by Rogers, to deny the application of Diane Deidenreich DBA Convenient Food Mart for license to sell Packaged Beer, there being no such classification in the Municipal Code for such license. Voting "Ave" Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. None. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Rogers, to table the petition of Ralph L. Edgar for Zoning reclassification. With consent of Council, the motion was withdrawn. Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to pass Ordinance granting the petition of Ralph L. Edgar for reclassification of z property on Elm Street at Boone Creek from "B-�' i'/•cial Retail f District to "B- Commercial Retail District. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. None. October 15, 1973 Page Three Motion by Datz, seconded by Hromec, to grant the peon of the City of McHenry and the McHenry Area Rescue Squad, Inc. for a Special Use Permit, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Bolger, AYE; Datz, AYE; Harker, AYE; Howard, NAY; Hromec, AYE; Pepping, AYE; Wegener, NAY; Rogers, AYE. AYES - 6 NAYS - 2 ABSENT - none The Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Pepping, to concur with the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals and deny the petition titled: "In the matter of the application of the McHenry State Bank, as Trustee under Trust No. 317, and Michael J. Wieser and Dolores M. Wieser, his wife, and James C. Patzke and Lona Patzke, his wife, for an amendment of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, and such ordinance as amended." Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Pepping, to pay the American National Bank & Trust Co. of Chicago $2305.00 interest and service charge due Nov. 1, 1973 on Waterworks and Sewer Revenue Bonds. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Hromec, seconded by Howard, to grant the request of the McCullom Lake Youth Club to hold a Tag Day in McHenry on October 27, 1973, and to grant the request of McHenry Council #1288 Knights of Columbus to sponsor a Candy Sale on Nov. 3, 1973.
