At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve the minutes of the September 17, 1973, meeting, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Rogers, to approve the Treasurer's Report for the month of September, 1973, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve the Clerk's Report for the month of September, 1973, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to instruct the Sewer and Water (Public Utilities) Committee to pursue the question of acquisition of the Lakeland Park Water .System. Voting "Aye.": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. October 1, 1973 Page Two Motion by Bolger, seconded by Rogers, to pass amendment to ordinance increasing the sanitary sewer system hookup fee to $250.00 per unit in multi -family living (residential) structures. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Rogers, to reduce the sanitary sewer hookup fee in the Lakeland Park - Lakeland Shores Special Assessment area in the amount of $100.00 for a period of six (6) months following date of final approval of the project by the engineers. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Bolger, AYE; Datz, NAY; Harker, NAY; Howard, NAY; Hromec, AVE* Pepping, AYE; Rogers, AYE; Wegener, AYE AYES - 5 NAYS - 3 Absent - none The Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Wegener, to defer action on the Petition of Ralph L. Edgar for Zoning reclassification and Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry until a meeting is held with the petitioner. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Datz, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Datz, seconded by Rogers, to enter into lease as submitted with the McHenry State Bank, as Trustee under Trust No. 116 on parking lot, lots 5 and 8 in Block 24 of the Original Plat of McHenry, and to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the lease.
