At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Hromec, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held June 4, 1973, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Wegener, to approve Mayor Stanek's reappointment of George P. Freund, William J. Bolger, and Frank Johnson as members of the McHenry Library Board, effective July 1, 1973. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay'" None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Meade Electric Co., Inc. was the only bidder on the project of installing Traffic Control System on Illinois Rt. 120 West. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Harker, to accept the bid of Meade Electric Co., Inc. in the amount of $405132.06 to install traffic control signals at the intersection of Illinois Route 120 and Meadow Lane and the intersection of Illinois Route 120 and Industrial Drive, further that Fred J. Meyer, Supt. of Public Works contact Meade Electric Co. for prices on installation of control boxes. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Voting "Nay" Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Hromec, that In The Matter of The"'mApplication of Thomas Hart, Barbara Hart, Gifford Markeson and Loretta Markeson For Zoning Reclassification or Variation and Amendment Of The Zoning Ordinance of The City of McHenry, a variation be granted on lot No. 28 to allow parking of boats and trailers, concrete parking stops to be installed 5 feet south of the fence along the north line, that parking of boats and trailers be allowed on lot No. 295 that chain link fence with slats be constructed as per diagram of heights and distances attached to report from the Zoning Board of Appeals, and varied use of lots to cover period from April 1st to November 1st each year.
