May 75 1973 -- 8 P.M.
The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Stanek
presiding. At roll call, the following aldermen were present:
Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener.
Absent: None.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to approve the minutes
of the April 30, 1973 meeting, as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec,
Pepping, Rogers, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Howard, seconded by Datz, to approve the
' 23-3c)
Treasurer's report for the month of April, 1973, as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec,
Pepping, Rogers, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Hromec, to approve the
Clerk's Report for the month of April, 1973, as read.

Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to grant Class "A"
Alcoholic Beverage License to EVO R. MANZARDO and GEORGE TOURVILLE
Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded:
Bolger, AYE; Datz, NAY; Harker, AYE; Howard, NAY; Hromec, NAY;
Pepping, AYE; Rogers, AYE; Wegener, NAY.

NAYS - 4
There being a tie vote, Mayor Stanek voted "Aye" and
declared the motion carried.

Motion by Howard, seconded by Wegener, to approve the
application of the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce for a Fireworks
Display at McCracken Field on July 155 1973 as a climax to Marine
Festival Day.
Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded:
Bolger, AYE; Datz, AYE; Harker, AYE; Howard, AYE; Hromec, AYE;
Pepping, AYE; Rogers, NAY; Wegener, AYE.

The Mayor declared the motion carried.
The location shown on application of Anna -Marie Selvaggio
for Alcoholic Beverage License being less than 100 feet from a
church, Alderman Rogers, seconded by Alderman Harker, moved that
the previous action by the Council to approve the application be
rescinded.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Datz, to advertise for bids
to furnish the City a 2-ton dump truck.

Motion carried.
Motion by Rogers, seconded by Hromec, to pass and approve
Resolution Designating Depositories for the City Treasurer, naming
McHenry State Bank, First National Bank of McHenry, and McHenry
Savings and Loan Association, copies of last two reports to be
filed with the City.

Pepping, Rogers, Wegener.

resignation of Raymond L. Smith from the Mchenry Plan Commission.
