At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to approve minutes of the April 16, 1973 meeting, as read. Voting "Aye" Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. None. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Howard, to approve the (1-23 Treasurer's report for the month of April 1 73, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay" : Novae . Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the City Clerk's report for the month of April 1973, as read. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. carried. Voting "aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Potion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to include Medical Coverage with whatever salary raises may be established for City Employees, insurance to be effective July 1, 1973 or before. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Smith, to accept Police Department salary recommendations as presented by the Police Commission and Police Pension Board. (Copy attached to these minutes.) Upon roll call the following vote was recorded: Bolger, Nay; Harker, Ave; Howard, Ave; Hromec, Nay; Pitzen, Aye; Rogers, Nay; Smith, Aye; Stanek, Nay. AYES--4 Nays--4 There being a tie vote, Mayor Doherty cast the deciding vote, voting "Aye", and declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Stanek, that salaries of city employees (excluding the police department) be increased approximately five (57o) percent effective May I. 1973. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Smith, to pass -and approve "Addendum To An Agreement" concerning I11. Rt. 120 West construction which was executed by the City of McHenry and the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation on September 21, 1972, and authorizing Annual Meeting (4-23-73) the Mayor to execute the addendum. Motion by Harker, seconded by Stanek, to adopt "Additional Resolution" concerning I11. Rt. 120 West construction appropriating $13,400.00 from money now allotted to the City under the provision of the Motor Fuel Tax Law, or any other funds available to the City, to pay its share of the cost of improvement provided in addendum to agreement. The City Clerk announced that the judges of election in each ward had duly delivered the ballots, returns and tally sheets in connection with the election for city officials held on the 17th day of April, 1973. Stanek be declared CO be elected Mayor; and that Earl R. Walsh be declared to be elected City Clerk; that Thomas F. Bolger be declared to be elected City Treasurer; that Jack Pepping be declared to be elected Alderman of the First Ward; that Edward Datz be declared to be elected Alderman of the Second Ward; that James Wegener be declared to be elected Alderman of the Third Ward; that Frank S.
