The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Doherty presiding. At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Rogers, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held February 5, i973, as read. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. None. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Pitzen, to pass and approve ordinance annexing Lot 2 in Kelter Estate Subdivision Unit No. 2.(Memo for reference: Petitioners were Eugene Hamer, Loretta Hamer, Richard Hignight, Patricia Hignight). (Ordinance ef- fective April 18th, 1973 due to statutes concerning election). Voting "Aye": Voting teNay►' : Absent: None . carried. Motion by Harker,. seconded by Hromec, to allow sewer hookup to Lot Z in Kelter Estate Subdivision Unit No. 2 immediately due to concern for public health. Feb. 20, 1973- Page 2 Motion by Howard, seconded by Rogers, to authorize the Supt. of Public Works to proceed with removal of tree stumps in the City. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Meyer, Supt. of Public Works, to negotiate cost of Water Main crossing on I11. Rt. 120 West and report to the Council at the next meeting. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to accept and approve Plat of Dedication of park and open area in Whispering Oaks development. Voting "Aye": Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitz , Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay':': None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Hromec, to pay William A. Tedor and Theresa A. Tedor, his wife, $1,883.47 as per �k_ closing statement in purchase of Lot 27 in Block 13 in Lakeland Park Unit N0. 2. Voting "Ayet1: Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to pay Wm, Zeigler & Son, Inc. $38,779.38 on sanitary sewer plant contract, as certified by Baxter and Woodman, Engineers, and pay Baxter and Woodman $634.66 for engineering services. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. V®ting "Nay": N®nee Absent: None. MOtlon Carried. It was moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by Alderman Rogers, to approve "Supplement to Conveyance Dated February 183 April 5, 1971 and August 21, 1972'° under Sponsorship Agreement to the State of Illinois, Department of Transpor- tation, Division of Water Resource Management, Successor to Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Water- ways concerning easements for constructing channel improvement Regular Meeting - Feb. 20, 1973 -- Page 4 in the City of McHenry and appurtenant work to our unnamed tributary to Fox River, from Meadow Lane upstream to Illinois Route 120, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreement. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pit2en, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Howard, to approve McHenry Community High School's Pep Club application for Pencil Sale, and the Girl Scouts application for Cookie Sales.
