Pursuant to proper notification and posting of notice, the City Council of the City of McHenry convened in a special meeting to consider height limitations on buildings, and other business that might properly come before the council at a special meeting. Mayor Doherty presided. Upon roll call, the following Aldermen were present: Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: Bolger. A discussion of the possible acquisition of the waterworks system serving Lakeland Park took place. It was decided to bring a petition before the Zoning Board of Appeals concerning height regulations on buildings, and clarifi- cation of parking requirements in commercial use areas. Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to proceed with necessary steps to adopt the Comprehensive Plan. Voting "Ave": Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Bolger. Motion carried. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Rogers, to advertise for bids for gasoline to be furnished the City during the year 1973• Voting "Aye Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Bolger. Motion carried. Motion Motion by Smith, seconded by Howard, to adjourn. Voting "Aye": Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, SMith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None.
