Monday, June 5, 1972 -- 8 P.M.
The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Doherty pre-
siding. At roll call, the following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker,
Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None.
Motion by Stanek, seconded by Harker, to approve the minutes of
the May 30, 1972 meeting, as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers,
Smith, Stanek.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to approve the Treasurer's
Report, as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers,
Smith, Stanek.

Absent: None.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Stanek, to approve the recommendation
of the Zoning Board of Appeals and grant the petition of Springtrol, Inc.
and Ralph L. Edgar to reclassify 5.3 acres along Illinois 120 West from"I"
Industrial Park to "B-1" Commercial Retail.

Motion by Smith, seconded by Stanek, not to approve the petition
of Ralph L. Edgar to reclassify 2.2 acres along south side of Illinois
Rt. 120 and east of Boone Creek from "B-2" Commercial -Recreational District
to "B-1" Retail Stores, Professional and Service Offices, with apartments
above the main floor.
(Memo: Reclassification recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Motion by Stanek, seconded by Hromec, to expend $300.00 to
Baxter and Woodman for engineering services in connection with proposed
extension of sanitary sewer and water mains along the east side of the
C. & N. W. Ry. tracks to Idyll Dell Road.

Inc. $93,510 due on Sewer Plant Construction contract, as certified by (Ck.#79)
Baxter & Woodman, Inc., engineers, and to pay Baxter & Woodman, Inc.
$1,530 due for engineering services on the sewer plant project. SIF #78
