Purpose: Pre -annexation hearing onn140 acres known as the Jacob Freund farm. Official publication in March 8, 1972 issue of the McHenry Plaindealer Subject: In the matter of the application of McHenry State Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 426, Ralph L. Edgar, and Investment Development, Inc. for entry into a pre -annexation agreement with the City of McHenry, Illinois. At roll call, the following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Attorney Joseph A. Conerty, Jr. presented and read a Petition for Pre -annexation. A full discussion on the various phases of development on the subject property was given by Ralph L. Edgar Motion by Smith, seconded by Howard, to adjourn the meeting to April 10, 1972 at 8 P.M. for continued hearing. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": fJone. Absent: None. Motion carried. At 8 P.M. April 10, 1972 Mayor Doherty called the meeting to order, continuing the adjourned meeting of April 105 1972. At roll call the following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Ralph L. Edgar presented a new layout plat of the proposed development and Tax Impact Study. March 23, 1972 Page Two Members of School Board District 156 and 15 requested additional time to evaluate the Tax Impact Study. Motion by Smith, seconded by Rogers, to adjourn the meeting to April 25, 1972 at 8 P.M. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Pitzen, Rogers, Hromec, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. At 8 P.M. April 25, 1972 Mayor Doherty called the meeting to order, continuing the adjournment of April 10, 1972. At roll call the following Aldermen.: were present: Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Discussions on various points, particularly with representatives of the aforementioned School Boards, took place. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Pitzen, to enter into pre -annexation agreement with the petitioners, subject to approval of final ordinance. Upon Roll Call the following vote was recorded: Voting "NO": Bolger, Stanek. Voting "Yes": Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
