Smith, seconded by Alderman Stanek, moved, with unanimous approval, that Alderman Pitzen act as Temporary Chairman to conduct the meeting. All Aldermen were present when the Clerk accepted the motion and called the roll. Alderman Pitzen then assumed the chair. At roll call the following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Howard ,Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: None. Motion by Hromec, seconded by Harker, to approve minutes of January 3rd meeting as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to clear overdraft of $172.56 in Cooney Heights Special Assessment Interest Account, payment to be made from Public Benefit account. Voting "Aye": Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, None. Motion by Smith, seconded by Rogers, to authorize payment to Wm. Zeigler & Son, Inc. amount due under sewer plant construction contract, amount to be certified by Baxter & Woodman, Engineers. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Harker, to designate the Clerk to write to the County Zoning Board of Appeals requesting approval of petition for sanitary land fill at location northwest of the City of Woodstock.
