An Ordinance Approving the Preliminary Plat of Rubloff Meijer/Home Depot Subdivision
WHEREAS, Rubloff Development Group has requested approval of a preliminary plat
for a commercial subdivision on the west side of Route 31 known as Meijer/Home Depot
Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry Plan Commission approved the Meijer/Home Depot
Subdivision Preliminary Plat on August 17, 2000 at its regularly scheduled meeting., and
provided a written record of its meeting and unanimous recommendation to the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the approval of the proposed preliminary plat is
in conformance with the Ordinances of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, as follows:
SECTION l: That the Preliminary Plat entitled "Meijer/Home Depot Subdivision",
prepared by VANnERSTAPPEN s11RvEy1Nc , dated ATT(;iTST ?-1 , 2000, and last
revised SEPTEMBER 1 , 2000, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and
the same is hereby approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The inclusion of language on the Final Plat providing for direct access to the
private access road for adjacent properties to the north and south;
2. The property be developed in substantial conformance with the latest drawings
submitted for zoning approval, which include the landscape plan prepared by
Woolpert LLP, dated April 2000.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict are hereby repealed to the extend
of such conflict.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval
and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
Voting Aye: BOLGER, GLAB, MCCLATCHEY, MURGATROYD, BAIRD.
Voting Nay: NONE.
Not Voting: NONE.
Abstaining: NONE.
Absent: NONE.
