HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 11/21/1966 - City Council j REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 21, 1966 The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Smith, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Etten, seconded by '9egener, to approve the minutes of regular meeting held November 7th as read. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Jackson, to open bids on Street Lighting and Storm Sewer Bonds, $130,000 issue. Motion carried. Motion carried. Regular Meeting - November 21, 1966 !#2 Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Jackson, to approve the plat of Whispering Oaks Unit No. 2 development, subject to review by proper authorities. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Huck, to pay Buss Ford Sales $1,850.00 in payment of 1967 Ford Police car. Motion carried. Ck.#4487 Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Bolger, to advertise for construction bids on Storm Sewer and Street Light improvements, bids to be received until 11:00 A.M. C.S.T., December 3, 1966 in the office of the City Clerk. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Smith, to designate the following monthly salaries, effective Nov. 1, 1966: Richsrd W.
