Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Smith, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Huck, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the minutes of regular meeting held November 21st. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Wegener, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Supplies 152.51 Motion by Jackson, seconded by Conway, to pass and approve an ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance providing for borrowing mney and issuing bonds of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, to the amount of A35,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of purchase ng an/installing a new traffic control signal and repairing and improving the existing traffic control signals located insaid City and providing for the levy and collection of a direct annual tax for the payment of the principal and interest of said bonds" . Voting "Aye": Bolger, Conway, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Smith, tmlegener. Voting "Naye": None Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded. by Etten, to pass and approve an ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance providing for borrowing money and issuing bonds of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, to the amount of '95,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing improvements and extensions to the existing storm sewer system of said City, and providing for the levy and collection of a direct annual tax for the payment of the principal and interest of said bonds". Motion by Huck, seconded by Conway, to pay Lakeland Construction Company 12,929.17 from Motor Fuel Tax Fund under MFT contract 14-CS, as approved by engineers. T. A. Rakow and Associates. Motion carried. Motion by ?itzen, seconded by Huck, to pass and approve MFT Resolution appropriating funds in the amount of $1300.00. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Negener, to act on the order of the court in the question of annexation of the Lakeland Park area, a "Yes" vote to approve the annexation and a "No" vote not to annex. All Aldermen were present and all voted "Yes" . The motion carried. Motion by Etten, seconded by Jackson, to ahend the Alcoholic Beverage License Ordinance, as recommended by the License Committee, to provide for two (2) Liquor Store licenses providing for a license fee of $700.00 per year and designating hours the same as Class "A" (Tavern) licenses, and to provide for one (1) addition, lass "A" (Tavern) license. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, sec nded by Huck, to direct the City Clerk to request a special Federal Census and authorize the Clerk to sign formal agreement after January 1, 1967. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Conway,to pay the McHenry Library 1500.00 due from tax levy. Motion carted. Ck. 4494 Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Jackson, to pay Lakeland Construction Co. 3,188.00, the amount of contract for sanitary sewer construction in Hanley's Ck..#4092 3rd Addition. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson, to designate the salary of Robert H. Kranz, Police Sergeant, at t475.00 per month retroactive to November 1st, 1966. Motion carried.
