HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 05/03/1979 - City Council PUBLIC HEARING THURSDAY, MAY 3, 1979 7:30 P.M. 111 Mayor Stanek reconvened the recessed Public Hearing of April 4, 1979, on Thursday, May 3, 1979, at 7:30 P.M. to consider the proposed Annexation Agreement of Residential Development Group regarding the Backhaus Farm annexation. At roll call the follow- ing aldermen were present: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley, Meurer. Absent: None. Also in attendance were City Attorney Bernard Narusis; Sup't of Public Works Fred Meyer; City Clerk Gilpin; James Berg and Don Gersted of RDG and their attorney, Richard Heimberg; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Schiller, objectors, and their attorney Jeffrey Ladd; Willis Martin, Jerry Miller, Lynn Donarski , Ray Schmitt, the Court Reporter, and other interested spectators. The annexation agreement was discussed in detail from page 10, paragraph 10 throughout the entire document. The meeting was recessed at 9:23 P.M. to rest the Court Reporter. It was reconvened at 9:33 P.M. with everyone still in attendance. Various proposals were put out for discussion by Gersted regarding the dedication of park land and construction of a street through the subdivision to Curran Road. No action was taken. Motion by Adams , seconded by Wieser, to recess this hearing to Monday, May 14, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. Voting aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams , Schooley, Meurer. Voting nay: None.
