MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1978 8 P.M.
The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to
order by Mayor Stanek on Monday, November 6, 1978. At roll call
the following aldermen were present: Schooley, Rogers, Bolger,
Nolan, Harker, Datz, Smith. Absent: Adams.
Mayor announced the minutes of the last meeting would
not be read since they had not been completed.
Motion by Nolan, seconded by Bolger, to accept the re-
commendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the Amici
property on Dale Avenue and pass an ordinance reclassifying it
from R-2 to R-3.
Voting aye: Schooley, Rogers, Bolger, Nolan, Harker,
Datz, Smith.
Voting nay: None.
Absent: Adams.
Motion carried.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Rogers, to accept the
Mayor's nomination of Harold Spruth to the Zoning Board of Appeals
to fill the unexpired term of Clint Claypool who resigned from
that Board.
Voting aye: Schooley, Rogers,' Bolger, Nolan, Harker,
Datz, Smith.
Voting nay: None.
Absent: Adams.
Motion carried.
Copies of the 1977-78 Fiscal Year Audit as completed by
Lester, Witte $ Company was distributed to the Council for review.
Motion by Rogers, seconded by Schooley, to authorize and
approve payment of the following bills:

Chief Pasenelli distributed revised copies of MC-48 for
review by the Council and a proposal regarding a Traffic Control
Grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The Council
was asked to study the two documents with action to be taken at
the next regular Council meeting.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Schooley, to permit con-
struction of a fence on the corner lot of Jerome Reinhardt at
Meadow and Bonner.
Voting aye: Schooley, Rogers, Bolger, Nolan, Harker,
Datz, Smith.
Voting nay: None. III
Absent: Adams.
Motion carried.
A Water/Sewer Committee meeting was scheduled for Monday,
November 13, 1978 at 7 P.M. and a meeting regarding establishment
of a McCullom Lake Conservation District was set for Thursday, No-
vember 9, 1978 at 8 P.M. , both meetings at City Hall.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Schooley, to adjourn.
Voting aye: Schooley, Rogers, Bolger, Nolan, Harker,
Datz, Smith.
Voting nay: None.
Absent: Adams. III
