WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 1978 8 P.M.
Mayor Stanek reconvened the recessed Public Hearing and
Joint Conference on the Kaufman-Glosson annexation agreement on
Wednesday, September 20, 1978, at 8 P.M. At roll call the follow-
ing aldermen were present: Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley,
Bolger, Nolan. Absent: Rogers.
Also in attendance were co-petitioners Douglas and Jac-
queline Glosson; Attorney for Petitioners Samuel Diamond; David Ladd
and R.S. Robinson of Brittany Builders; Ken Torkelson and associate;
City Attorney Bernard Narusis; Sup't Fred Meyer and Clerk Gilpin.
Following discussion of the revised pre-annexation agree-
ment as presented by Attorney Diamond in behalf of Arnold and Helen
Kaufman and Douglas and Jacqueline Glosson, several revisions and
two additional points were required by the Council:
1) installation of a six foot chain link fence along
the entire rear of the property abuting the school
property within 90 days of commencement of any new
construction on any of the parcels and;
2) submission of an executed easement along the east-
erly portion of the property in question.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Adams, to recess the Public
Hearing and Joint Conference on the Kaufman-Glosson Annexation Agree-
ment to Monday, October 16, 1978 at 8 P.M. at the regular City Coun-
cil Meeting.
Voting Aye: Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley, Bolger,
Nolan.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: Rogers.
Motion carried.
Meeting was recessed at 8:43 P.M.
