Public Hearing on the Kaufman-Glossop Annexation Proposal was called to order by Mayor Stanek at 8 P.M. At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley, Rogers, Harker. Absent: Bolger, Nolan. Also present were Petitioner Arnold Kaufman, his attorney Sam Diamond; City Attorney Bernard Narusis, Supt. of Public Works Fred Meyer and Clerk Gilpin; Plan Commission Chairman Pepping and Plan Commission members Muerer and Cole. Mayor Stanek called for a recess at 8:07 P.M. to allow Clerk to make copies of Kaufman's petition and annexation agreement. At 8:24 P.M. Mayor Stanek reconvened the hearing. At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley, Rogers. Absent: Nolan. Attorney Diamond and Mr. Kaufman presented their proposal for annexation of 14.55 acres of land on the northeast corner of Route 120 and Ringwood Road. Following discussion and review of the petition and proposed annexation agreement, it was the consensus of opinion of the Council that the proposed annexation agreement should be redrafted by the petitioner. Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to recess the public hearing until Wednesday, September 20, 1978 at 8 P.M. Voting Aye: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schooley. Voting Nay: Rogers.
