MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1977 7:37 P.M.
The Public Hearing concerning annexation of the Boyd Christensen
property on Draper Road was called to order by Mayor Stanek. The follow-
ing aldermen were present: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Adams, Nolan arrived at
7:41, Smith arrived at 7:48. Absent: Schaedel, Schooley.
Attorney James Green appeared to represent Mr. Christensen.
The property connected with the annexation proposal encompasses 240
acres and is located west of Draper Road, south of the Wheelock property.
Green stated he was the proposed purchaser and would be re-
sponsible for development of the property.
Green made the following proposal for a developer donation on
each lot in the development; $200 - high school; $200 - grade school;
$100 - library; $400 - parks.
City Attorney Narusis verified that Green had complied with
the city statutes and submitted all the necessary notices and legal
documents.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to approve the proposed
annexation agreement in general, contingent upon presentation of final
annexation documents.
Voting Aye: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Adams, Nolan, Smith.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: Schaedel, Schooley.
Motion carried.
Green announced he would be present at the Oct. 17, 1977
meeting of the Council for formal approval of the annexation agreement.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:07 P.M.
