At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Wegener arrived at 8:12 P.M. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Smith, to approve the minutes of the Jan- uary 31 , 1977, meeting as read. Voting Aye: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Schaedel , seconded by Harker, to enter into a lease agreement for one year with the VFW for use of ball fields on its property for the 1977 season at a cost of $1 ,000. Voting AYe: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, DAtz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Wegener, to instruct Supt. of Public Works Fred Meyer to maintain the ball field at the American Legion grounds on Ring- wood Road. Voting Aye: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Datz, seconded by Bolger, to approve the preliminary plat for Boone Valley No.11 as presented. There being a tie vote, Mayor Stanek cast a "no" vote and declared the motion failed. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Hromec, to repass the ordinance setting minimum square footage requirements for habitable living space with the follow- ing correction: Delete the words "2 Bedroom" on the condominium category. Voting Aye: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Schaedel , Hromec. Voting Nay: Smith. Absent: None. Motion carried.
