At roll call , the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Schaedel to approve the minutes of the Nov- ember 1 , 1976 meeting as read. Voting Aye: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Pepping to enter into an Engineering Services Agreement with Baxter & Woodman regarding the "Local Public Works CApital Devel- opment and Investment Act of 1976" which would provide information needed for a grant application of $479,494 toward Well No.5 water treatment plant construction. Voting Aye: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec, Schaedel . Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Datz, seconded by Smith, to pay Baxter & Woodman $1 ,141 .03 for engineering services on McHenry Hospital Water and Sewer extensions. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to contribute $1 ,000 to the Chamber of Commerce to defray the cost of installing and removing Christmas decorations throughout the City. Ahlert to rezone property on the north side of the road at 5110-12 W. Route 120 from "B-1 " Commercial Retail District to "B-3" Commercial District. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to accept the resignation of Lee J. Cooney from the McHenry Plan Commission and to pass a resolution recognizing the services of Cooney who has served on the Plan Commission for 15 years. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Schaedel to accept the arrangements made by James Keevil and William Zujewski to refund improperly paid insurance mones they received through payroll deductions over a year period of time. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Datz, that Gary Gilpin's status be changed from summer employee to a regular full time Public Works employee and his salary be at the starting rate for that department.
