TUESDAY, JUNE 1, 1976 8:00 P.M.
(Memo: Meeting held on Tuesday due to regular meeting date falling
on a holiday -- Memorial Day.)
The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Stanek presiding.
At roll call the following aldermen were present: Pepping, Harker, Datz,
Wegener, Smith, Hromec. Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve minutes of May 17,
1976 meeting as read.
Voting "Aye": Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.
Motion carried.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Pepping, to approve Fund Structure
of Accounts as submitted by Wm. Froehlich with additions as indicated.
Voting "Aye": Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Harker, to accept petitiom from Anne
Street residents and insure petitioners that they be given consideration
before final decision is made regarding opening of street and that Andy
Bos be notified when brought up again before the council.
Voting "Aye": Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.

Motion by Hromec, seconded by Pepping, to transfer Class "F"
packaged liquor license from Charlotte M. Gehrke to Ray F. and Bertha M.
Soucie.

Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.

Motion by Pepping, seconded by Hromec, to approve purchase of sign
from Parkway Products Company for Petersen Park at a cost of $1,200.00.
Voting "Aye": Peplying, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec.

Motion carried.
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Datz, to expend up to $1,500.00 for
tree trimming for parks.
Voting "Aye": Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith.
Voting "Nay": Hromec.
Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Harker, to instruct Supt. Meyer to
proceed with paving of Petersen Park entry road at an approximate cost of
$3,000.00.

Voting "Nay": Hromec.
Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.

Motion by Smith, seconded by Harker, to approve water connection from
Northern Illinois Utilities to Petersen Park area.

Absent: Bolger, Schaedel.
Motion carried.
Motion by Wegener, seconded by Smith, to pass Ordinance granting per-
mission for St. Patrick's Parish to sell alcoholic beverages at retail on
church premises on June 11, 12, 18, E 19th, 1976.

(corner of Broad St. $ Richmond Rd.)

Motion by Wegener, seconded by Pepping, to amend ordinance (Mc-95) changing
total number of Class "A" liquor licenses to seventeen (17) .

Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to approve expenditure of $322.00
to Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission for support for regional planning.

Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to concur with Liquor Commissioner's
action regarding procedure to be followed regarding Richard Jager liquor license. '
