Tues. Feb. 17, 1976 -- 8:00 P.M.
(Memo:) As per municipal code, this meeting was changed from Monday, February
16th due to holiday. (Washington's Birthday) The City Council met in regular
meeting with Mayor Stanek presiding. At roll call the following aldermen were
present: Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel. Absent: Hromec.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve minutes as read of reg-
ular meeting held Feb. 2, 1976 with correction on motion relating to Obsenity and
Massage Parlor Ordinance: Schaedel voting "Nay" Hromec voting "Aye": .
Voting "-Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Hromec.
Motion carried.
Motion by Datz, seconded by Harker, to approve amendment to Bulletin No. 2
for additional amount of $93.50 as submitted by Baxter and Woodman, Inc. regard-
ing Well No. 5 Water Treatment Plant.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting ''Nay": None.
Absent: Hromec.
Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to approve proposal of EMT of _Wood-
stock in the amount of $4,813.00 for replacement of equipment at sewer plant and C t
approximately $600.00 ($15.00 per hour) for welding.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting "Nay": Nose.
Absent: Hromec.

Motion by Datz, seconded by Harker to pass "An Ordinance Amending the City
of McHenry Zoning Ordinance" pertaining to Vera B. Hensley and William R. Essex
petition, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Hromec.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Wegener, to grant permission to McHenry Area
Chamber of Commerce to hang signs within the City, location to be suitable with
Supt. Meyer.

Motion by Wegener, seconded by Smith, to grant permission to Northern
District of Camp Fire Girls for a door to door canvas of City and the co-
operating merchants, from Feb. 20th, 1976 to March 8, 1976.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Hromec.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Bolger, to approve re-paying the amount
of $25,000.00 from the Payroll Account to Water & Sewer Fund and the balance Cat'
remaining of overage in the payroll account to Off Street Parking Fund.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Schaedel.
Voting "Nay": None.

Motion carried.
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Bolger, to grant approval that police
officers go to 44 hour work week, with the straight hourly rate for hours
in excess of 40, for a period not to exceed 90 days.
