JANUARY 19, 1976 -- 8:00 P.M.
The City Council met in regular meeting with Mayor Stanek presiding.
At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Pepping, Harker,
Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec. Absent: Schaedel .
Motion by Harker, seconded by Bolger, to approve minutes of regular
meeting held Jan. 5, 1976 and Special meeting held on Jan. 12, 1976 with
correction on motion pertaining to vehicle license fees, changing amount
of School Bus fee from $5.00 to 10.00,
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Pepping, Harker, Datz, Wegener, Smith, Hromec.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Schaedel .
Motion carried. '
Motion by Pepping, seconded by Harker, to grant permission to the
University of Illinois School of Public Health to take survey in the City.

Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Wegener to pass Ordinance relating to
State of Illinois Emergency Services and Disaster Agency Act.

Voting" Nay": None.
Absent: Schaedel .
Motion carried.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Datz, to accept the bid of Motorola, Inc.
for Regional Communications System in the amount of $110,171.80 and to auth-
orize the immediate award of $50,317,00 for Phase I .

Voting "Nay": None,

Motion by Wegener, seconded by Pepping, to re-pass Ordinance amending
Chapter 13, Article II , Paragraph 19 (Vehicle Licenses) as follows effective
date Jan. 1, 1977:
Passenger vehicles for private use and
trucks of less than one ton capacity 6.00
Freight or merchandise carrying vehicles
One to two ton capacity 12.50
Over two ton capacity 15.00
Motorcycles 4.00
Public passenger vehicles with capacity
of seven persons. 20.00
Public passenger vehicles having capacity
of seven persons or less 17.00
Automobile dealer 5 stickers 30.00
and each additional sticker will be 6.00
School busses of all sizes and capacity 10.00
All trailers 3.00

Class H Beer & Wine 300.00 to 350.00
