At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve the minutes of the March 3, 1975 meeting & March 10, 1975 meeting, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Rogers, to accept tentative plat adding four (4) lots to Unit No. 7 of Boone Valley. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay" : None. Absent; None. Motion carried. Motion by Hromec, seconded by Datz, to enter into one (1 ) year lease agreement with V.F.W. VETERANS CLUB, INC. , for a consider- (ck.#8242) ation of one thousand ($1 ,000.00) dollars to be paid by the City, effective date July 1 , 1975. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers , Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to pass "An Ordinance Amending the City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance" pertaining Neumann and Pulos petition, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to authorize the Mayor to sign Option Agreement concerning proposed parking lot adjacent to the McHenry Savings & Loan Building, West of Green Street and South of Elm Street. Upon Roll Call , the following vote was recorded: Bolger-AYE; Datz-AYE; Harker-AYE; Howard-AYE; Hromec-NAY; Pepping-AYE; Rogers-AYE; Wegener-AYE. There being seven (7) "AYE" votes and one (1 ) "NAY" vote, the Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Wegener, seconded by Harker, to ratify action taken at regular meeting March 3, 1975 concerning purchase of squad March 17, 1975 Page Four cars, and to purchase two (2) squad cars from Buss Ford Sales at a cost of $3,675.00 each. Upon roll call , the following vote was recorded: Bolger-AYE; Datz-AYE; Harker-AYE; Howard-AYE; Hromec-NAY; Pepping-AYE; --� Rogers-NAY; Wegener=AYE. There being six (6) "AYE" votes and two (2) "NAY" votes, the Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Bolger, to pass an ordinance amending Section 4 of Article 1 of Chapter 15 of the Municipal Code (Water & Sewer Connection Fees) and amending Section 19 of Article III of Chapter 15 of the Municipal Code (Water & Sewer rates) Upon roll call , the following vote was recorded: Bolger-AYE; Datz-AYE; Harker-AYE; Howard-NAY; Hromec-AYE; Pepping-NAY; Rogers-AYE; Wegener-AYE. There being six (6) "AYE" votes and two (2) "NAY" votes , the Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Bolger, to approve the following named as Judges of Election for the City Election on April 15, 1975: Ward No. 1 : Marian Anderson, Evelyn Steinbach, Betty J. Smith, Rosalie Givens, Joan Freund. Ward No. 2: Frances Matchen, Corinne Rogers, Eileen Pictor, Marilyn Phalin, Helen B. Moran. Ward No. 3: Mary A. Freund, Laura E. Martin, Helen Williams , Martha B. Freund, Marian E. Rothermel . Ward No. 4: Jeanette I. Koerper, Nora C. Eckhart, Betty A. Bockman, Judy Pedersen, Raymond R. Rode, Jr. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to pay the Chicago & NorthWestern Transportation Company $2,822.33, payment due on City's -� share of cost on Lillian Street Crossing, payment to be made from the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Rogers, to enter into agreement with the United States of America, Bureau of the Census , for a special population census, estimated cost being $4,230.00, $2,470.00 to be paid directly to the Bureau. Voting "Aye" : Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Wegener, to grant the request of the McHenry Youth League Baseball to hold a Tag Day in the City on July 5, 1975. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay" : None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Howard, to authorize the purchase of twelve (12) Roberts Rules Of Order books, the books to remain the property of the City of McHenry. Voting "Aye" : Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Wegener, seconded by Bolger, to purchase used Ford Pickup truck, for use in the Sewer Department, at a cost of $1 ,000.00.
