At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to approve the minutes of the Dec. 30, 1974, meeting, as read. Voting "Aye" : Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Wegener, to approve the Treasurer's Report covering the month of Dec. 1974, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker; Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Datz, to approve the Clerk's Report covering the month of Dec. 1974, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Howard, to approve and adopt "Rules and Regulations of the City of McHenry, Illinois Police Department. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Howard, to accept the resignation of Thomas F. Bolger, City Treasurer, effective ..� May 1 , 1975. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay" : None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Rogers, to pass Resolution concerning retirement of Joseph J. Diedrich, City employee. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. (Memo: A copy of Resolution attached to these minutes) . Motion by Rogers, seconded by Hromec, to remove, if there are any, restrictions on school buses using any City Streets. Upon roll call , the following vote was recorded: Bolger-AYE; Datz-NAY; Harker-NAY; Howard-AYE; Hromec-AYE; Pepping-AYE; Rogers-AYE; Wegener-AYE. There being 6 "aye" votes and 2 "nay" votes, the Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers , seconded by Pepping, to direct the City Clerk to notify the Director of Transportation for school districts of the action taken by the City Council regarding school buses use of City streets. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. January 6, 1975 Page Five Mayor Stanek read a letter of resignation submitted by Earl R. Walsh, City Clerk: Motion by Rogers, seconded by Pepping, to accept the resig- nation of Earl R. Walsh, City Clerk, Effective May 1 , 1975. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Wegener, seconded by Harker, to go into Executive Session to consider acquisition of property. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Howard, to return to regular session. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener.
