AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
BY THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, Robert G. Petersen, individually and/or as executor of the
estate of Kenneth C. Petersen, deceased (Seller or Life Tenant) is the
owner of certain real estate located in the County of McHenry and
commonly known as 4112 West McCullom Lake Road, legally described on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, together with all structures and
improvements existing thereon; and,
WHEREAS, Robert G. Petersen desires to sell the above referenced
Property to the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared an agreement attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" for presentation as an offer to the Seller.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of McHenry be
directed to execute and present' Exhibit "B" to the Seller, for acceptance
and Sale of the Property in accordance with its terms.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the terms
and provisions hereof be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.
