An Ordinance Amending the Comprehensive
Plan and Official Map of the
City of McHenry
WHEREAS, THE CITY OF McHENRY has been requested by a Petition
signed by Richard A. Adams and Rita A. Adams to amend the
Comprehensive Plan and Official Map of the City of McHenry and to
rezone approximately 51 acres located on the north side of Illinois
State Route 120 and approximately 200 feet west of Hillside Lane in
the County of McHenry, and commonly known as 2600 West Route 120,
McHenry, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, A PUBLIC HEARING was held by the Plan Commission
after due notice in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, THE PLAN COMMISSION, after deliberation, has made a
report and recommended the amendment of the Comprehensive Plan and
Official Map of the City of McHenry as requested by the
Petitioners; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1: That consistent with the recommendation of the
Plan Commission of the City of McHenry the parcel attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit B and hereinafter identified as
"C5 Parcel" shall be designated on the Comprehensive Plan and
Official Map of the City of McHenry as "Other Commercial".
SECTION 2: That consistent with the recommendation of the
Plan Commission of the City of McHenry the parcel attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit A and hereinafter identified as
"BP Parcel" shall be designated on the Comprehensive Plain and
Official Map of the City of McHenry as "Business Park".
SECTION 3: If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
sentence or provision of this Ordinance shall be adjudged by any
Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall
not affect, impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder thereof,
which remainder shall remain and continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinance in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form (which
publication is hereby authorized) as provided by law.
EXHIBIT A
"BP Parcel":
That part of the South Half of Section 25, Township 45 North, Range
8 East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of! the
Southwest Quarter of Section 25; thence North 881 32' 18" East,
1319.05 feet along the North line of said Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter to the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter; thence North 880 33' 51" East, 238.92
feet along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 25 to the Westerly line of Eastwood Manor
#4; thence South 00 49' 45" East along said West line of Eastwood
Manor #4 for a distance of 589.84 feet; thence South 891 10" 15"
West for a distance of 348.27 feet to a point on a non -tangential
curve; thence Southwesterly along a curve having a radius of 180.00
feet as said curve is convexed to the Southeast for an arc distance
of 77.13 feet, said curve having a chord bearing of South 59" 55'
12" West and a chord length of 76.54 feet to a point of reverse
curvature; thence continuing Southwesterly along a curve to the
left having a radius of 120.00 feet for an arc distance of 150.76
feet, said curve having a chord bearing of South 361 12' 09" West
and a chord length of 141.05 feet to a point of tangency; thence
South 00 49' 45" East, 245.63 feet; thence South 880 32' 18" West
for a distance of 600.64 feet to a point of curvature; then
Northwesterly along a curve to the right having a radius of 180.00
feet for an arc distance of 127.53 feet, said curve having a chord
bearing of North 710 09' 54" West and a chord length of 124.88
feet; thence South 390 07' 53" West for a distance of 314.34 feet;
thence North 760 30' 50" West, 134.40 feet to a point located on
the West line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
said Section 25; thence North 11 12' 33" West along the West line
of said Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25
for a distance of 1140.72 feet to the place of beginning, said
parcel containing 31.4832 acres, more or less, in the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois.

said Section 36 to the point of beginning; thence South 00 47' 45"
