AN ORDINANCE VALIDATING AND CORRECTING THE AGGREGATE TOTAL SUM OF
THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR MAY 1, 1994
TO APRIL 30, 1995
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1994, the City Council of the City of McHenry,
did pass its Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal year commencing May
1, 1994 and ending April 30, 1995; and
WHEREAS, said Appropriation Ordinance was published, in pamphlet
form, on July 7, 1994 with an error in the aggregate total sum of
$19,029,500.00; and
WHEREAS, said error was recently discovered and is being corrected
by validating the original 1994-95 Appropriation Ordinance passed and
published with the corrected aggregate total sum of $20,494,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY as follows:
SECTION 1: Pursuant to Section 5/1-2-4 of the Illinois Municipal
Code, the City Council of the City of McHenry does hereby declare the
original Appropriation Ordinance passed on July 6, 1994 and published on
July 7, 1994, valid and in effect with the corrected aggregate total sum
of $20,494,500.00.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish said original, validated and corrected 1994-95 Appropriation
Ordinance once more within 30 days of the passage of this ordinance. A
copy of said corrected Appropriation Ordinance is attached hereto.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

APPROPRIATION FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1994 - 95
THE FOLLOWING AGGREGATE SUM IS HEREBY CORRECTED AND VALIDATEDNTO BE $20,494,500.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That it be deemed necessary in order to defray the necessary
expenses and liabilities of said City for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1994 and
ending April 30, 1995; that there be and there is hereby appropriated to provide for
the general tax levy and other revenue for the said fiscal year, the aggregate sum
of Nineteen Mill-ien Twenty Nine Theusand Five Hundred r;e l.. ($1e nee 500.00) the
object and purpose for which said appropriation is made and the amounts appropriated
for the same are as follows, to wit:

appropriation made by this Ordinance.

and publication according to law.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
