HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-95-688 - 01/11/1995 - ANNEX BLAKE FAMILY PROPERTY 43 ACORDINANCE NO. 0-95- 688 An Ordinance Annexing Certain Property Owned by the Blake Family Limited Partnership to the City of XcHenry BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the CITY OF McHENRY, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: That the following described property is hereby annexed to the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois: Lot 3 of County Clerk's Plat of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 45 north, Range 8 east of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded May 6, 1902, as Document No. 14082, in Book 2 of Plats, page 34, (excepting and reserving therefrom the following described property: That part of said Lot 3 described as follows: commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 3 thence south 88 degrees 52 minutes 35 seconds west along the south line of said Lot a, 36.2 feet, thence north 00 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds west along the west right-of-way line of State Route 31, 685.70 feet to the point of beginning, thence south 89 degrees 55 minutes 07 seconds west 630 feet, thence north 00 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds west 691.44 feet, thence north 89 degrees 55 minutes 07 seconds east 630 feet, thence south 00 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds east 691.44 feet to the point of beginning), except that part as taken by condemnation by the State of Illinois in Circuit Court Case 73-3756, in McHenry County, Illinois. Said property, depicted on an accurate map which is appended and made a part of this Ordinance, consists of 43 acres and is contiguous to the City of McHenry. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of the City of McHenry is hereby directed to record in the office of the Recorder and to file in the Office of the County Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois, within 30 days of the effective date of this Ordinance a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the property hereby annexed, said map being attached hereto, made a part hereof and identified as Exhibit A. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its passage and approval. Blake Family Limited Trust Annexation, Page 1 /~�srzo�zg8� 95-04-1 164 SECTION 4: If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, sentence or provision of this Ordinance shall be adjudged by any Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder thereof, which remainder shall remain and continue in full force and effect. SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form (which publication is hereby authorized) as provided by law.
