AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY AND INDUSTRIAL
WASTE INTO ANY STORM SEWER OR DRAINAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTED AS
A PART OF THE GREEN STREET IMPROVEMENT (FAU ROUTE 0087),
FEDERAL PROJECT M-5043(11) STATE SECTION 1980-158 RS,
CITY SECTION 80-00036-01-PV,
CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois, acting by and through its Department of
Transportation, is desirous of improving Green Street between 180 (one hundred
eighty) feet north of the the intersection with Kane Street and the inter-
section with Fairway Drive; and
WHEREAS, said project includes the installation of storm sewers and
drainage facilities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry,
McHenry County, Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1: No person, firm, corporation or other entity shall discharge
any sanitary waste or industrial waste water into any storm sewer or drainage
facility constructed as part of the Green Street improvement, said limits of
improvement being between 180 (one hundred eighty) feet north of the
intersection with Kane Avenue and the intersection of Green Street with
Fairway Drive.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of McHenry is authorized and
direc ted to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the agreement dated April 10,
1990 by and between the State of Illinois and the City of McHenry, relative to
the Green Street improvement.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as provided by law.
