HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-90-531 - 04/16/1990 - ANNEX FIRST NATL BANK PROPERTYCOPI� C�:- NQWCx, f (-P) IN ftTT -Pr k� D 0o O R G e� RD - l 0 01Z ORDINANCE NO. 0-90-531 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE TO THE EXISTING CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the First National Bank of McHenry, a National Banking Association, is the owner of the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said real estate is not located in any other municipality and is contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and the owners of said real estate desire to annex the, said real estate and have petitioned the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, for annexation of said real estate; and WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, have heretofore approved the Annexation Agreement bearing the date of the 16th day of April, 1990, between the City and the First National Bank of McHenry, a National Banking Association, which provides in part for the annexation of said real estate to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and for the establishment of the zoning of said real estate to 0-2, Office Park Zoning District classification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1. The following described real estate be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, including all adjoining roads or highways as required by law: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2; running thence South on the East line of said Northwest Quarter, 473.9 feet to a place of beginning; thence South on a continuation of the last described line, 286.37 feet to a point; thence West on a line 89 degrees, 17 minutes to the right of prolongation of the last described line, 652.93 feet to the Easterly line of a public highway, now known as State Highway 31 (sometimes known as State Bond Issue Highway Route No. 61); thence Northeasterly along the Easterly line of said highway right of way being on a line 109 degrees and no minutes to the right of prolongation of the last described line, 69.08 feet to a point; thence Northeasterly along the Easterly line of the right of way of the State Highway aforesaid, being on a curved line to the left having a radius of 3819.83 feet, a distance of 232.16 feet, to a point; thence Easterly 564.45 feet to the place of beginning; in Township 44 North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Ordinance with said map attached thereto as Exhibit "A" to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois. Following the recordation of this Ordinance and the map of the real estate above described and annexed, a certified copy thereof with said map attached thereto shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be known as Ordinance No. 0-90-5131 and shall e�in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
