RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF McHENRY
McHENRY, ILLINOIS
Mr. Patrick R. Gorniak
WHEREAS, congratulations and citations are in order for
Mr. Patrick R. Gorniak for his actions in
saving the life of Paulette Borter, on
February 6, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, a catastrophe was avoided because of Mr.
Gorniak's modeling of good character; and,
WHEREAS, the action in averting what could have been
a tragic loss to family, friends, and community
was also a demonstration of CARING and
RESPONSIBILITY; which deserves special
recognition by the governing body of this city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that sincere
appreciation of the City Council, the City of McHenry
Administration, and all the citizens at large of the community,
are hereby extended to Mr. Patrick R. Gorniak for his heroic
action.
ADOPTED UNANIMOUSLY on the 19th day of February,
2007.
