HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-89-489 - 01/11/1989 - ANNEX FIRST ADDN TO WINDING CREEK - GERSTAD BLDRSAN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, a Petition for annexation of the territory described in the attached Exhibit "A" was filed with the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois on May 13, 1988 by THE HOME STATE BANK OF CRYSTAL LAKE, as Trustee under Trust No. 1550, THE McHENRY STATE BANK, as Trustee under Trust No. 3941 and GERSTAD BUILDERS, INC., hereinafter referred to collectively as "Owner"; and WHEREAS, hearings were had in regard to said Petition for Annexation before the Mayor and City Council; and WHEREAS, as a result of such hearings, and consideration of the evidence given and exhibits presented, the Mayor and City Council have determined that the request of the Petition for Annexation, as amended, and the exhibits which are a part thereof, which was heretofore approved by the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry, is in harmony and keeping with the proper and orderly development and improvement of the City of McHenry. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois as follows: 1. That the property described on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, and the property to the far side of any adjacent highway not already in the City, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of McHenry, a municipal corporation in the State of Illinois. 2.
