A resolution providing for the retirement of certain municipal Indebtedness by the use of motor fuel lax funds
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry has

outstanding indebtedness described as follows:
$3,500,000 General Obligation Bonds (Motor Fuel Tax Alternative Revenue Source) Series 20001,

WHEREAS, in the opinion of this body, the indebtedness described in the preceding paragraph may be retiree
wlth funds allotted to the municipality under the Motor Fuel Tax Law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that sufficient motor fuel tax funds are or will be available when the above indebtedness 1
due, and
WHEREAS, the McHenry City Council has, by resolution
(County Board, Council or President and Board of Trustees)
adopted
NOVEMBER 29 2p 04 directed the Clerk of MCHenr
County to cancel the 2004 tax levy (for lazes collectable in ?005 ) which would

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated the sum of Four hundred fifty seve
thousand, nine hundred
twelve and 501100------------ Dollars ($ 457,912.50 ) from funds allotted to the county or
municipality under the Motor Fuel Tax Law for the payment of the above -described indebtedness, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit three (3) certified copies of this resolution
to the District Engineer, Department of Transportation, at Srha)imhnrg , Illinois.
