ORDINANCE NO. 0-88-474
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING EXPANSION OR ALTERATION
OF THE McHFNRY COUNTRY CLUB CLUBHOUSE BY EXPANDING
THE CONE ZENCE ROOM AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY
943 SQUARE FEET
WHEREAS, a conditional use presently exists for
iurposes of operating the McHenry Country Club; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of McHenry, Section XIV. G. governing the issuance of
conditional use permits, petitioners appeared before the City
v(juncil of the City of McHenry for purposes of obtaining an
additional conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry did
d!atermine that a request for an additional conditiona"- use
plarmit pursuant to City Ordinances did not have to be made
before the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of McHenry of
McHenry for hearing; and
WHEREAS, a building permit has issued with respect
ti the expansion and alteration of the club house dining room
and expansion and alteration of a washroom facility on the
golf course; and
WHEREAS, the plan and specifications for said
alterations are on file with its application for building
permit; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1: That auconditional use permit shall be
allowed by permitting an addition to the existing club house
structure located on the McHenry Country Club by enlarging
the existing dining room to the approximate dimensions of 24
feet by 36 feet in accordance and in compliance with the
plans and specifications already on file with the City of
McHenry for application for building permit.

SECTION 2: That aNconditional use permit shall be
allowed by permitting the reconstruction of the washroom
facility located on the McHenry Country Club Golf Course by
remodeling and reconstruction increasing the total
approximate size of said facility to approximately 220 square
feet in accordance and in compliance with the plan and
specifications on file with the City of McHenry in its
application for building permit.
SECTION 3: All ordinances, or parts th.2reof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Sk.iTION 4: This ordinance shall be in :all force
and effect from and after its passage as provided by law.
