HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-88-464 - 06/23/1988 - ANNEXATION WOODED RIDGE SUB 10 AC88R 042068 ORDINANCE NO. 0-88-464 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE TO THE EXISTING CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO ZONE THE REAL ESTATE ANNEXED WHEREAS, the McHenry State Bank , as Trustee under the provisions of Trust Agreements Known as Trust Nos. 1446 and 1448 is the record owner the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and the McHenry State Bank, as Trustee aforesaid desires annexation of said real estate and has petitioned the City Council of the City of McHenry County, Illinois, for annexation of said real estate and WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities for and on behalf of the City of Mchenry, McHenry County, Illinois, have heretofore approved an Annexation Agreement bearing the date of the 23rd day of June, 1988, between itself and the McHenry State Bank, as Trustee under the provisions of Trust Agreements Nos. 1446 and 1448 which provides in part for the annexation of said real estate to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois and for the reclassification of the following described property to "RS-1" LOW -DENSITY SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT: and WHEREAS, notice of public hearing before the City U') Council was published in the Northwest Herald, a newspaper of rl_ CD general circulation in the City of McHenry within the time c� provided by law; and PREPARED BY: Dan Curran co Holmstrom & Green pp 8600 Route 14 Crystal Lake, IL. 60012 WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on said request for annexation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: co SECTION I: The following described real estate be C:) and the same is hereby annexed to and made part of the corporate iV limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, a ON including any and all portions of adjacent streets, roads or CD highways as required by law: The West Half of the West 737.90 feet of the South 18 acres of the North 28 acres of the Northeast Quarter -of the Southwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois; and The East Half of the West 737.90 feet of the South 18 acres of the North 28 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois. SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare an accurate map of the real estate described and annexed and when satisfied as to the accuracy of said map, record the map and a certified copy of this Ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois. Following the recordation of this Ordinance and the map of the real estate above -described and annexed, a copy thereof shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois. SECTION III: That the real estate hereinabove annexed in Section I be and the same is hereby classified as "RS-l" LOW -DENSITY SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT. 88-43-0746 SECTION IV: All maps, plats, journals and other records, including the official city map of the corporate boundaries, official land use map of the Comprehensive Plan, and CD the zoning district map of the City of McHenry be and the same dp are hereby amended to reflect the annexation and the zoning of O the real estate as described in Sections I and III hereinabove. 1'V SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be known as O a► Ordinance No. 0-88-464 and shall be in full force and effect from OQ and after its passage and approval according to law.
