AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MC HENRY,
COUNTY OF MC HENRY, STATE OF ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MC HENRY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That a conditional use permit be and the same is
hereby granted to the following described premises to permit the
constru,:tion of a second -floor addition to the present church build-
ing consisting of 2,820 square feet with exterior to blend with
neighboring mansard roofs, to wit:
PARCEL 1 The Westerly 1/2 of that part of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 45 North,
Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry
County, Illinois, lying on the Westerly side of the State
Highway, described as follows: Commencing at the West
Quarter corner of Section 35; thence Southerly on the West
line thereof, 136.87 feet to a point for a place of
beginning; thence Easterly on a line parallel with the East
and West Quarter Section line, 638.22 feet to an
intersection with the West line of the State Highway (now
known as Route Number 31); thence Southerly along the West
line of said State Highway, 68.17 feet; thence Westerly on a
line parallel with the East and West Quarter Section line,
639.82 feet to the West line of said Section 35; thence
Northerly on said West line thereof, 68.18 feet to the place
of beginning and containing 1 acre of land, more or less,
situated in the Township of McHenry, in the County of McHenry,
in the State of Illinois. `

on the West line thereof, 610.57 feet for a place of
beginning; thence Easterly on a line parallel with the East
and West Quarter Section line, 649.32 feet to an
intersection with the West line of the State Highway (now
known as Route 31); thence Southerly on a West line of said
State Highway, 133.85 feet; thence Westerly on a Line
parallel with said East and West Quarter Section line,
652.46 feet to the West line of said Section 35, thence
Northerly on said Section line, 133.86 feet to the place of
beginning, in McHenry County, Illinois.

SECTION 2: The City Council makes the following express findings:
1) That any adverse impact of type or volume of traffic flow
associated with the granting of the conditional use has been
minimized.
2) That adverse effects of noise, glare, odor, dust, waste
disposal, blockage of air or light, if any, o"r other adverse
environmental effects of a type or degree not characteristic
of permitted uses in the single family residential zoning
district, have been controlled.
3) That the proposed conditional use will not have undue
deleterious effect on the environmental quality, property
values or neighborhood character already existing in the area.
4) That the proposed conditional use will not generate dis-
proportionate demand for new public service or community
facilities in such a way as to place undue burdens upon
existing development in the area.
5) That the proposed conditional use will not be detrimental to
the safety or health of the employees, church members, or
visitors associated with the present use, nor the general public
in the vicinity.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances, parts thereof, in conflict herewith
be, and :he same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
