AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Mc HENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That part of Brookwood Trail, to wit:
That part of Brookwood Trail , a roadway dedicated on
the plat of Unit No. 2 of Winding Creek, a subdivision
of part of the Northeast Ouarter of Section 4, Township
44 North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded
September 2, 1981 , as Document No. 822764, described as
follows: Beginning at the intersection of the East
line of Brookwood Trail as dedicated on said plat and
the North line of Bull Valley Road; thence North 0
degrees 39 minutes 24 seconds West along the East line
of Brookwood Trail, 80.0 feet, to a point of curve;
thence North along a curved line, concave Westerly and
having a radius of 2090.053 feet, said line being the
East line of Brookwood Trail, an arc distance of 70.01
feet, to the point of beginning of the parcel herein
described; thence North 89 degrees 20 minutes 36
seconds East, 21.49 feet; thence North 0 degrees 32
minutes 08 seconds West, 50.0 feet; thence South 89
degrees 20 minutes 36 seconds West, 23.87 feet, to the
East line of Brookwood Trail; thence Southerly along a
curved line, concave Westerly and having a radius of
2090.053 feet, an arc distance of 50.06 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning, all in McHenry County,
Ill inois,
be and the same is hereby vacated reserving unto the City of
McHenry and 'its licensees anI all public utilities now maintaining
publ is service util ities thereon a perpetual unl imited easement
therein and thereover.
SECTION 2. Such street vacation is made upon a determination
by the Playor and Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois that it
i s to the best i nterests of the City of McHenry , Il 1 i not s that the
aforesaid portion of said Street be vacated and that such finding
is made following proper application therefore, public notice
thereof and public hearing thereon, all in accordance with the
Statute in such case made and provided.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
