HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-86-406 - 10/15/1986 - ANNEX HOGEL PROPERTY ON COUNTRY CLUB DRIVEORDINANCE NO. 0-86-406 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, JOSEPH HOGEL and JUDITH HOGEL are the owners of the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, two electors, JOSEPH HOGEL and JUDITH HOGEL reside on the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and is not located within any other municipality; and the aforesaid record owner and resident electors desire annexation of said real estate and have petitioned the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois, in writing and under oath, for annexation of said real estate; and WHEREAS, the land to be annexed is' not a part of any Public Library District, does not front on a township road and will not be disconnected from any fire protection district and therefore statutory notice is not required to be given to those legal entities designated in the statutes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1: The following described real estate be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, including any and all portions of adjacent streets, roads, or highways as required by law: Lot 1 in Owen, Stenger and Allen's Third Addition to McHenry, a subdivision of part of the Southwest Fraction of the Northwest Fractional 1/4 of Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, West of the Fox River, according to the plat thereof recorded September 3, 1925, as Document No. 69761, in Book 5 of Plats, page 44, in McHenry County, Illinois. That a Plat of Survey of said territory is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause an accurate map of the real estate described and annexed to be prepared or obtained, and when satisfied as to the accuracy of said map, record the map and a certified copy of this Ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois. Following the recordation of this Ordinance and the map of the real estate above described and annexed, a copy thereof shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois. - 2- SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
