AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF' THE CITY Or' McHENRY,
COUNTY OF McHENRY, STATE OF' ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' McHENRY:
SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, County of McHenry and State of Illinois, as passed,
approved, and as subsequently amended, and the official zoning
map of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry and State of
Illinois, adopted as part of the said Zoning Ordinance, be and
they are hereby amendea as follows:
(a) That the zoning classifications of the following
described real estate be changed from "R-4",
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT classification to "B-1",
COMMERCIAL RETAIL DISTRICT classification:
Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in Block 2 in Meadow Lane
Subdivision, a Subdivision of part of the West Halt of
the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 45 North,
Range 8 East of the Thira Principal Meridian, according
to the Plat thereof recorded July 29, 1947 as Document
No. 203236, in Book 10 of Plats, page 64, in McHenry
County, Illinois.
(b) That in addition thereto, the above described real
estate will be limited to the following permitted uses:
All uses within the "B-l" zoning category except
automobile service or gas stations.
SECTION 2: That the City of McHenry Zoning Board of
Appeals, defeated the Motion to recommend the requested
reclassifications, by a 4 to 2 vote, following proper application
therefor, publication and notice thereof, and public hearing, in
accordance with the provisions of the City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances, parts thereof, in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after
its passage as by law provided.
