AN ORDINANCE

BE IORDAINED COUNCIL THE CITY OF
McHENRY, MCHENRYCODUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
TION 1. That the amount levied under the Police
rotection Fund category for police protection
r� j(salaries) in the annual tax levy ordinance of the
/�► City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, for the
fiscal year beginning May 1, 1984 and ending April 30,
1985, be and the some is hereby abated in the sum of
$ 27,500.00 , thereby reducing the amount to be
levied for said purpose to the sum of $ 27,500.00
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance
shall be delivered to the County Clerk of McHenry County,
Illinois on or before the last day of February, 1985 and
shall constitute the County Clerk's authority to implement
the abatement of the aforesaid tax by the amount specified.
SECTION 3. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
