AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following alleyway be and the
same is hereby closed to the use of the general public
until further action by the City Council:
The a1Rey connecting Illinois Route 120 and Main Street which abuts
Lots 7, 8, 10 and 11 in McHenry Plat No. 10 as shown on the assessors
map (prepared by Sidwell Company) of the SW4 of Sec 26, Twp 45 North
Range 8 East of the 3rd PM, in McHenry County, Illinois
SECTION 2. That during such time that the aforesaid
alleyway remains temporarily closed, permission is given to
the adjoining property owners to use such alleyway abutting
their premises provided that no permanent structures shall
be built thereon, that said premises will be maintained in
a clean, attractive and sightly manner and that said
premises shall be restored to their present condition by
such abutting property owners whenever requested by the
City to do so.
SECTION'S. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in a manner
provided by law.
