HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-84-347 - 10/29/1984 - RECLASS PROPERTY FROM I1 TO B1ORDINANCE NO. 0-84r347 AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, COUNTY OF McHENRY, STATE OF ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' McHENRY: SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry and State of Illinois, as passed, approved, and as subsequently amended, and the official zoning map of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry and State of Illinois, adopted as part of the said Zoning Ordinance, be and they are hereby amended as follows: (a) That the zoning classifications of the following described real estate be changed from "I-1", HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT classification to "B-1", COMMERCIAL RETAIL DISTRICT classification: Lot l: Part of the Southeast Quarter (1/4) of Section Twenty-seven (27), Township Forth -five (45) North, Range Eight (8) east of the third (3ra) Principal, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the old center of the woocistock and McHenry road (now Illinois Route 120) on the East line of said Section Twenty-seven (27); thence Westerly along the old center of said highway, 83.6 feet, more or less, to the Southwesterly corner of the premises conveyed by Adam Ibsh, who was the same person as Adolph Ibsh, to Louis Althoff and Frances Althoff, his wife, by Warranty Deed dated August 25, 1926 and recorded in the Recorder's Office of McHenry County, Illinois in Book 181 of Deeds on page 235; thence North 8 degrees 23 minutes 0 seconds East, One Hundred Sixty-nine and Ninety-five Hundredths (169.95) feet, more or less, along the Westerly line of said premises conveyed to Louis and Frances Althoff, to a point of deflection in the Westerly line of said premises; thence North 12 degrees 10 minutes 56 seconds West, One Hundred Eighty-five and No Hundredths (185.00) feet along said Westerly line; thence North 79 degrees 46 minutes 38 seconds West, One Hundred Fifty-four and Seventy-nine Hundredths (154.79) feet to the place of beginning; thence North 79 degrees 46 minutes 38 seconds west, One Hundred Thirty and Thirteen South 12 degrees 44 minutes 59 Right -of -Way of Illinois Route said North Right -of -Way line, t 44 minutes 59 seconds West from North 12 degrees 44 minutes 59 the place of beginning. SECTION 2: That the City of McHenry Zoning Board of Appeals, defeated the Motion to recommend the requested reclassitications, by a 4 to 3 vote, following proper application therefor, publication of notice thereof, and public hearing, in accordance with the provisions of the City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 3: That all Ordinances, parts thereof, in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
