POLICE PROTECTION TAX ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, COUNTY
OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. A special tax is hereby imposed for the purpose of
police protection upon all the taxable property within the City of
McHenry at the dollar amount of $53,005.00 to help meet the cost of
police protection in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 24,
Section 11-1-3 of the Illinois Revised Statutes.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form
by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
