AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND OFFICIAL MAP
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The comprehensive plan for the development
of the City of McHenry and the Official Map be and the same
are hereby amended by including therein and thereon the
annexed territory formerly known as the Village of McHenry
Shores; the attached Land Use Plan-2000 is hereby incorpor-
ated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The road depicted on Land Use Plan-2000 as
Orchard Park Road is erroneously named and is hereby
changed to the correct name, to -wit: State Park Road.,
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by statute.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to provisions
contained in Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24,
Section 11-12-7, that on June 6, 1983, the City Council of
the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois passed and
the Mayor approved an ordinance amending the Official
Comprehensive Plan of the City of McHenry and of
Contiguous Territories surrounding said City and also an
ordinance amending the Official Map.
