AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE TO THE
CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Timothy J. Low is the owner of the real estate
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, one elector, Timothy J. Low resides on the
real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous t.o the
existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois,
and is not located within any other municipality,; and the
aforesaid record owner and resident electors desire
annexation of said real estate and have petitioned the
corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois, in
writing and under oath, for annexation of said real estate;
and
WHEREAS, the land to be annexed is not a part of any
Public Library District, does not front on a township road
and will not be disconnected from any fire protection
district and therefore statutory notice is not required to
be given to those legal entities designated in the statutes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION l: The following described real estate be
and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the
corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois„ including
any and all portions of adjacent streets, roads, or highways
as required by law:
Lots 68 and 69 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision,
Fox River Addition, a Subdivision of Part of
the North Half of Sections 35 and 36, Township
45 North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded
October 21, 1929, as Document 90215, in Book 8
of Plats, Page 2, all in McHenry County, Illinois.
That a Plat of Survey of said territory is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause an accurate map of the real estate described and
annexed to be prepared or obtained, and when satisfied) as to
the accuracy of said map, record the map and a certified
copy of this Ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois. Following the recordation
of this Ordinance and the map of the real estate above
described and annexed, a copy thereof shall be filed in the
Office of the Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.

PETITION TO ANNEX CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
To: The Mayor and City Council
of the City of McHenry
McHenry, Illinois
PURSUANT TO the terms and provisions contained in Illinois Revised
Statutes, Chapter 24, Section 7-1-8, as amended, the undersigned, under
oath, respectfully represent unto the Mayor and the City Council of the
City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That Timothy J. Low
is the owner of record of the
following described territory (a Plat of Survey of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit A):
Lots 68 and 69 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision, Fox River
Addition, a subdivision of Part of the North Half of Sections
35 and 36, Township 45 North, Range 8, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded
October 21, 1929, as Document 90215, in Book 8 of Plats,,
Page 2, all in McHenry County, Illinois.
2. That said territory is not within the limits of any municipality.
3. That said territory is contiguous to the City of McHenry, Illinois
corporate boundary.
4. That the following electors, and no others, reside on the territory
described in paragraph 1 hereof: Timothy J. Low
that said electors are signatories of this Petition.
5. That the above described premises are not part of any Public Library
District, that W. Victoria Avenue which is adjacent to said premises, is not
a township road, and that the City of -McHenry does not provide fire protection
service.
6. That the undersigned as such owner of record, desires that the ter-
ritory described in paragraph 1 hereof be annexed to the City of McHenry,
Illinois.

WHEREFORE, the undersigned do hereby respectfully request and petition
the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois,
to annex the territory described above in paragraph 1 of this Petition and
the territory to the far side of any adjacent highway to the said City of
McHenry, Illinois.
