AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, a public hearing was had before the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry pursuant to proper
authority and proper notice therefor having been effected
through publication as by statute provided; and
WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals heard and
considered evidence at said hearing in regard to the al-
legtaions contained in said Petition; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said hearing the Zoning Board
of Appeals of the City of McHenry did make and deliver
recommendations in regard thereto to the City Council of
the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, said Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of
McHenry did recommend the zoning reclassification of the
real estate hereinafter described to the zoning classifica-
tions hereinafter indicated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the content
of such recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of
the City of McHenry that the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of McHenry, as passed and approved on the 12th day of
March, 1962, and such Ordinance as subsequently amended, be
and hereby is amended as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described land be
and the same is hereby reclassified to "B-1" Com-
mercial Retail District classification under the terms
and provisions of the City of McHenry Zoning Ordin-
ance.
PARCEL l: That part of the Southwest Quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 35, Township 45
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, which lies West of State Highway Route
31 (excepting therefrom the North 10 acres
thereof); in McHenry County, Illinois.
PARCEL 2: All that part of the West Half of Lot
2, which lies Westerly of the highway known as
State Highway Route 31 in the Northwest Quarter
of Section 2, Township 44 North, Range 8 East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County,
Illinois.
PARCEL 3: All that part of the West Half of Lot
1 (except the South 33 feet thereof) which lies
Westerly of the Highway known as State Highway
Route 31 in the Northwest Quarter of Section 2,
Township 44 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in McHenry, County,
Illinois.
SECTION 2: That the following described land be
and the same is hereby reclassified Industrial Park
District classification under the terms and provisions
of the City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance.
PARCEL 4: All that part of the Northeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township
45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, which lies on the Easterly side of the
right of way of Chicago and Northwestern Railway
Company, in McHenry County, Illinois.

PARCEL 5: The Southeast Quarter of the South-
east Quarter of Section 34, Township 45 North,
Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
which lies on the Easterly side of the right of
way of Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company,
in McHenry County, Illinois.
PARCEL 6: The Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 3, Township 44 North, Range 8
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry
County, Illinois.
PARCEL 7: The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 3, Township 44 North, Range 8
East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in
McHenry County, Illinois.
PARCEL 8: That part of the Southwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 45
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian in McHenry County, Illinois, lying
Easterly of the easterly line of the Chicago and
Northwestern Railroad right of way;
PARCEL 9: All that part of the West Half of Lot
2 of the Northeast Quarter and all that part of
Lot 2 of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3,
Township 44 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying East of the Easterly
line of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad
Company's right of way;
PARCEL 10: All that part of the North Half of
the East Half of Lot 1 of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 3, Township 44 North, Range 8 East of
the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of the
Easterly line of the Chicago and Northwestern
Railroad Company's right of way, all in McHenry
County, Illinois.

SECTION 3.
That the zoning maps of the City may
be amended to reflect the aforesaid zoning reclassifi-
cations.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and
the same are hereby repeated to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the cor-
porate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
