AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, your Petitioners, JACK WALSH, ROBERT L. GLORCH
and FOSTER E. GLORCH have filed a Petition with the CITY OF McHENRY
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS requesting the Amendment of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of McHenry in regard to the following described real estate to -wit:
Lot 9 in Block 19 in Lakeland Park Unit No. 2, a subdivision of part of
the Northwest Quarter and part of the Southwest Quarter of Section
27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the Plat thereof recorded December 12, 1952 as
Document No. 260030 in Book 11 of Plats, page 66, in McHenry
County, Illinois.
AND, WHEREAS, the Petition requests reclassification of the subject
property from its present classification which is "R-3A" Residence District to "B-1"
Commercial Retail District and;
WHEREAS, a hearing on said Petition was held before the CITY OF
McHENRY ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS on July 1, 1981 in the manner and form
as prescribed by Ordinance and Statute and;
WHEREAS, as a result of said hearing, the taking of evidence, and the
viewing of exhibits advanced thereat, the CITY OF McHENRY ZONING BOARD OF
APPEALS did recommend to the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry
the granting of said reclassification to "B-1" Commercial Retail District and;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the CITY OF McHENRY,
Illinois have considered the recommendation as submitted by the ZONING BOARD
OF APPEALS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City
Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois as follows:
1. That the property described herein be and the same is hereby
reclassified from "R-3A" Residence District to "B-1" Commercial Retail District
under the CITY OF McHENRY ZONING ORDINANCE.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as provided by law.
VOTING AYE: Nolan, Pepping, Datz, Harker, Wieser, Serritella
VOTING NAY: Meurer
ABSENT: Smith

day of July, 1981.
